my lift powder isnt burning fast enough and i am using the same formula and techniqe for granulating. please help i am milling for 12 hours with lead media and adding 2-3% dextrin. and then granlating.

My lift charge was not working aswell, so I put my lift charge into the lifting cup, filling it up about one fourth of the way up,topped it with some meal coated rice husks, and then on top of that i aded some whistle mix with a small amount of iron oxide mixed in. I then topped the whistle mis with a small layer of lift charge. If you are not using a lifting cup, then I would suggest you mix some of the lifting granuels, rice husks, and whistle mix in a bag and dump it into the mortar./ Gabriel

dont mill so long, only like 6 hr. should work fine.

is lift charge much diferent than black powder, iv allways used bp as a lift charge.

lift charge is different from bp because it is granulated, therefore it burnes faster, aswell as burning from the inside out, therefor giving better lift./ Gabriel

I have never heard of this composition before... are there any references or is this self invented?

sounds like a more easy to light verision of the the CuO/Al thermite/flashpowder sounds like a good idea tho!!
